Itās that time of month again ā¦

New season, new month, new restaurants. You already know Boston.comās monthly list of restaurant openings is the perfect roadmap to up your foodie game.
Hereās what hot this month:
šø Extra Dirty Cocktail Club, North End. Last year, we told you The Red Fox was the North Endās trendy younger sibling. Now, it has a trendy younger sibling of its own. Enter: The Extra Dirty Cocktail Club. The clubās sexy new space is tucked behind a curtain in the Red Fox. There, itāll host themed nights called āactsā with prix fixe cocktail ātasting menusā inspired by global locations and spirits. The first one, āAct 1: A Visit to Italy,ā kicks off on March 5. $90 per person gets you three small plates, gelato, and three cocktails.
š Drifters Kitchen and Bar, Quincy. Drifters has the potential to become Quincyās go-to neighborhood haunt, though a quick walk from the Red Line makes it accessible for non-Quincyites. It feels retro divey-chic, with leather booths, neon signs, and a 1 a.m. daily close time. The menu matches that energy, with comfort foods like steak frites au poivre, pizza, and a signature burger (which looks LEGIT), plus bar bites like wings and arancini. Thereās also a bar with signature cocktails, a wine list, and drafts. Check out the menu on their IG highlights.
Things to try:
Drifter burger
Street corn fritters with avocado crema
Skyās the Limit cocktail with tequila, coconut, and blood orange
š¦Ŗ The Pearl, Brighton. The Dorchester seafood spot from husband-wife duo Mika and Malik Winder officially opened its second location at Boston Landing. Fans can expect the same āSouthern hospitality with city sophisticationā philosophy and seafood-forward menu (plus brunch!), with a few location-specific twists. Think: Rotating daily crudo, a seafood tower, and a few special menu items like black miso ribs and a fried whole fish with coconut garlic sauce. You can peep the menu here.
Things to try:
Black miso ribs with guava and chili crisp
Rotating daily crudo
Lobster mac and cheese
š³ Willow & Ivy, Back Bay. True to its name, the vibes of this spot at The Lenox Hotel are meant to bring the outside in ā literally, there's an eight-foot ficus tree growing next to the bar. Itāll be open pretty much all day, from breakfast to 1 a.m. The food is meant to appeal to tourists and locals alike: Classic, approachable dishes with ādashes of boldness,ā according to Boston magazine. That said, considering the listings and lack of prices on the menu, we wouldnāt throw around the word āapproachable.ā It opens March 15.
Things to try:
Handmade tortillas and eggs with Portuguese chorizo
Fresh-cut tagliatelle with bolognese
Maine Lobster "Pie" with sweet corn

CITY
Quick & dirty headlines

šø President Donald Trumpās tariffs (and their local impacts) are back on. Remember the tariffs on Mexican and Canadian imports Trump threatened, then walked back, last month? Well, theyāre officially a go. Here in Mass., one of the biggest expected impacts is on energy: Gov. Healey estimated a 10% tariff on Canadian petroleum and natural gas could cost us $370 million a year. But other local industries like food (50% of the U.S.ā fresh veggies are from Mexico), homebuilding, and cars wonāt fare much better.
š„ Mayor Michelle Wu is in the hot seat. Wu, along with three other Democrat mayors, will testify today before Congress about Bostonās immigration enforcement policies ā a major target of the Trump administration, including āborder czarā Tom Homan. The hearing will likely be tough (one expert referred to it as āa punching bag hearingā), but Wu has been prepping with regular meetings with a bigwig law firm, advocates, and local members of Congress. Plus she has an ace up her sleeve in Bostonās impressive safety stats. You can watch the hearing at 10 a.m. here.
š Another new Celtics doc just dropped. This Monday, and every Monday for the next eight weeks, weāll get to stream a new episode of āCeltics City,ā a new doc from executive producer Bill Simmons about the Cās. The doc spans generations, focusing on each era and the teamās relationship with Boston ā including our current stars. The Globe called the doc āthe best visual telling there has ever beenā of the team, and if that doesnāt sell you, even Joe Mazzulla had something nice to say. You can watch the series on Max.
š“ Ring ring! Spring break is calling! We never met a cheap flight we didnāt like, and youāve got loads to pick from during JetBlueās three-day spring sale. Now through Thursday, you can score one-way flights out of Boston for as low as $49. We might be a little biased toward this $94 flight to Barbados and this $89 one to Grand Cayman. You can see all the cheap trips here. Note: Just be sure to read all the fine print because there are a few restrictions on when the deals apply.
ONE LAST THING
Loganās scorpion surprise

Illustration: Gia Orsino
As if we needed another item on our list of irrational fears: On Sunday, a woman was stung by a scorpion at Logan while grabbing her luggage from baggage claim at Terminal E.
You read that right. A scorpion. At Logan Airport.
We have a lot of questions. To name a few: Why was there a scorpion in the airport? Why was it in her luggage? How did it get there? And, has this ever happened before? Unfortunately, right now, Massport has absolutely no answers, though State Police are investigating.
The woman was brought to the hospital. But thankfully, aside from being painful, scorpion stings are generally harmless. We guess all there is to say is ā¦ be careful out there.
ā Written by Gia Orsino and Emily Schario
š¦ Thanks for reading! IDK whatās going on in airports right now, but we know we donāt want any part in it.
š Special shoutout to todayās sponsor, the Rose Art Museum, for supporting local journalism and bringing free art that sparks conversation to the community.
š„ The results are in: 65% of B-Siders say theyāve been able to find eggs despite our recent shortage. One reader said: ābeen able to find? yes. at a price im happy to pay? not so much.ā
