*Checks restaurant bucket list. Checks calendar.* Itβs go time. Sunday marks the start of Dine Out Boston, the cityβs two-week foodie extravaganza where Boston-area restaurants offer prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus. But if Iβve learned anything from my Dine Out stints: Not all Dine Out menus are created equally, as some spots withhold their most popular bites (boo!).Β
After scouring the Dine Out deals, in my humble foodie opinion, here are some fave restaurants thatβre serving up *actual* menu items that *actually* save you money:
π The Smoke Shop BBQ, multiple locations. Lunch $27/pp. Dinner $38/pp. The three-course dinner deal is basically grocery shopping, with all the leftovers youβll have (speaking from personal experience). Their wings are a gorgeous balance of sweet and smoky β the fatty burnt ends, cloaked in char, melt in your mouth β and their gooey butter cake tastes like a dessert forbidden fruit. Letβs just say β¦ youβve got A LOT of options.

π These New Englanders better make it work! βCause TWO of them are on the new season of βProject Runway.β Nantucket and Rhode Island, represent!
π Could Ben Affleck be in the Karen Read movie? Letβs just say that he recently hung out with Turtleboy (IYKYK), and letβs just say β¦ people noticed.
π‘ Need to just β¦ feel something? How about rage? Thatβs how we felt after we learned that JetBlue lost a womanβs wedding dress and DIDNβT reimburse her at first β¦
